An Opportunity

Luther College seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Administration Assistant who will assist in our Performing Arts department. This is an ongoing, full time, term time position working 40 weeks per year, commencing Monday 15 April 2024.

The role of Administration Assistant is to provide general administrative and day-to-day support to the Head of Performing Arts (Co-curricular), enabling the Instrumental Music Program, Co-Curricular Ensembles, college events and much more to run smoothly and effectively. There may be a need, at times, for this role to be performed outside of scheduled hours.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team and environment in a role that provides scope for growth and professional development.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.15am – 4.30pm and Friday 8.15am – 4.00pm.

About You

You are an exceptional administrator with a passion for the Performing Arts, seeking to contribute to a supportive team and environment. Having a positive attitude and being a strong communicator with great interpersonal skills, you are aware of your impact on all community members and intuitively adjust your style to meet cultural and stakeholder needs.

A keen eye for the finer details, naturally collaborative and have the desire to learn through hands on experience, this role requires you to be efficient in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in an administrative role in a school environment would be advantageous but not essential.
