An exciting opportunity is available for a bright, hard-working individual, where you will join our young team of professionals in a full-time administration support assistant role.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
To attend to office administration and provide support to Professional Accounting Staff.
TASKS
Attendance to Correspondence:
- Attending to general correspondence (incoming mail, emails, outgoing mail and action items) on a daily basis;
- Preparing client tax correspondence and sending and receiving documents via MYOB Client Portal;
- Electronic archiving and filing function;
- Preparation of ASIC corporate secretarial forms and correspondence;
General Administration Duties (not limited to):
- Respond to client requests for information;
- Scanning documents to client files;
- Ordering of office supplies;
- Overseeing IT resources;
- Client billing, debtor management and bank receipting duties;
- WIP management (timesheets, WIP adjustments, write offs)
- Prepare monthly management reports, analyse firm’s KPIs and provide support to Partners.
Reception duties:
- Greeting clients; attending to incoming couriers and other visitors from time to time;
- Answering phone and directing calls to relevant team member;
- Meeting bookings
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
- An interest in business activities and pursuing an administrative career
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate with clarity and fluency
- Excellent work ethic, organisation, attention to detail and motivation
- Confidence to develop client relationships and work with colleagues
- High level of computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Strong dedication to team work, a willingness to work hard, learn and develop new skills using the latest technology
- Excellent phone manner
- A willingness to learn
- Neat presentation and punctuality
- The right to work in Australia
Required Qualifications:
While no formal qualifications are required, studies in Business Administration are favourable.
