The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth running of all administrative functions to support the overall success of our surf park. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about HR, Administration and Finance, with a unique twist of being in the dynamic environment of a surf park. Did we also say new surf park! Join us in Sydney Olympic Park as the only operator in the world to own and operate two surf parks.
DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES include
- Organise, arrange and coordinate team meetings
- Assist in preparation of regular reports, finance updates.
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures.
- Assist the HR team with crew on-boarding, documentation, keeping staff records up to date, induction and training.
- Assist Finance department by invoice processing, expenses processing, assisting with daily and monthly reconciliations.
- Play a role in casual staff rostering across the team and work with the HR team to ensure all staff are paid correctly and in a timely manner.
- Manage the ordering and supply of office amenities and equipment
- Support the GM & USS management team by handling internal and external admin.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Experience with accounting packages and HRiS preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail in managing correspondence, documentation, and records.
- Ability to coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements effectively.•
- Capacity to lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
- Ability to empathize with the concerns and perspectives of team members, customers, and stakeholders.
- Clear and effective communication with colleagues and guests.
