About Southbank Day Surgery:
Southbank Day Surgery is a purpose-built day surgery with excellent facilities specialising in dental, ophthalmics, dermatology, plastics, IVF and sleep studies. Our hospital includes 6 operating theatres and 3 procedure rooms with our own specialised MOH’s laboratory.
About the Role:
This role will see you overseeing the Administration Team and working collaboratively with the clinical teams at Southbank Day Surgery
Actively foster relationships with stakeholders to ensure maximum engagement and mutual commercial outcomes
Proactively work on and ensure effective and positive relationships with key internal and external vendors to ensure business needs are met
Plan and maintain hospital budgets ensuring budgetary requirements are met in consultation with GM/DON
Ensure accuracy with quotes for private and self-insured patients for admission and actively seek confirmation from VMOs rooms and the Clinical Lead with any queries
Ensure accuracy and submission of relevant hospital billing and associated debtor management
Ensure data collection and clinical records support coding and billing requirements and mandatory hospital data reporting
Ensure data collection and compilation of reports for health funds and other reporting as requested
Ensure all admission and discharge documentation is accurately recorded
Ensure patient accounts are invoiced, receipted and reconciled
Manage theatre bookings and ensure lists are distributed accordingly
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence across all areas of the hospital
About You:
You have a genuine passion for providing world-class customer and patient care and want to add value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
Must have prior experience in a healthcare facility
A high level of computer / technical skills particularly Microsoft Office
A background in administration management is highly desired
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
