Vennings is a major employer in the Copper Coast area of South Australia. We are a family owned and operated business that have been manufacturing farming equipment since 1954. We have a retail shop face in Kadina selling general workshop tools and machines. We have an average workforce of 25 people employed as admin, sales welders and painters. Our Mines Road office retails our products across Australia via the internet, telephone calls and the sales team attend field days across Australia. Vennings is located in Kadina, a regional centre for Yorke Peninsula which has most of the things you need like banks and shopping, the Copper Coast has a population of about 15000 and can offer you a great lifestyle. We are close to beaches, surfing and fishing in the gulf. Great sporting facilities and close to Adelaide and the Clare wine region.
Qualifications & experience
- The following attributes will be looked upon favourably -
- Excellent communication skills, with face to face and over the phone.
- A sound knowledge of MYOB.
- An understanding of tax and employment industrial relations.
- Be across the internet with web sites and social media.
Tasks & responsibilities
- We are looking for an administrator who can manage the following facets of business, Payroll, Digital Marketing and WHS processing.
- Payroll: You will be required to process a fortnightly payroll for the company. Regularly process the entitlements due to employees. Set up new employees, process terminations and manage leave and toil. Maintain staff payroll records.
- Digital Marketing: the successful applicant will manage the website, update as pages on the site as required. Upload information to Facebook and other digital sites of what is happening within the Vennings group, field day attendance, staff milestones and other events of importance.
- Human Resorces: Work with the WHS manager to meet the documentation requirements as needed. Maintain staff records in regards to reviews, disciplinary notices, and training history.
