About Us: Sisters in the City (SITC) is a community-based NDIS provider of disability support, job finding, and nursing services in Southeast Queensland. We are dedicated to serving the LGBTQIA+ community and our local community, fostering community development, disability support, and employment initiatives. Our commitment lies in providing personal support programs to address the needs of disadvantaged people with disabilities and community groups.
The Role: We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administration Officer to provide vital support to our executive and senior leadership team, ensuring the smooth operation of our Brisbane office. In this role, you will also take on key financial responsibilities including payroll processing, invoicing, and managing accounts receivable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the executive/senior leadership team with administrative tasks
- Maintain a clean, organised, and productive office environment
- Manage stationery and grocery orders
- Maintain key and asset registers
- Work on client and staff files, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and currency
- Participate in audits and quality work
- Process payroll accurately and on time
- Prepare and send invoices to stakeholders as required
- Follow up on overdue accounts
- Assist with other financial administration tasks as required
Skills and Experience:
- Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Experience with payroll processing and invoicing (highly desirable)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of NDIS regulations and guidelines is a plus
Requirements:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (State-based)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current Driver's Licence
- Working with Children Check (WWC)
