PPC Moulding Services is a thriving plastic injection moulding business located in South Western Sydney. We are a proud, family-owned business with a primary focus on injection moulding for the medical device, commercial and industrial sectors. We are experts in injection moulding, toolmaking and subassembly and have experienced rapid growth in recent years. Today, we employ over 250 talented and diverse people.
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a full-time Administrative Officer. This position will initially cover a maternity leave position but will transition into a permanent role due to our business's ongoing growth and expansion.
Your Contribution
As a part of the Admin and Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our day-to-day operations flow effectively. You will add further value to our business by contributing to the overall efficiency of our office. Key to the success of this role will be your organisational skills and time management, and your ability to partner with key stakeholders. Day-to-day, the role will entail:
- Entering sales orders and work orders into our system
- Assisting with accounts payable activities, such as raising purchase orders
- Raising and sending delivery dockets and invoices
- Liaising with our Logistics team, customers and various freight companies to organise transport of goods
- Ordering and replenishing stock for staff amenities (i.e. kitchen, bathroom, stationery and first aid supplies)
- Liaising with suppliers to assist with purchasing of materials
- Providing administrative support to our other Admin Officers and Finance team
- Light reception duties such as managing incoming calls and emails and greeting visitors
- Working closely with our Warehouse team to ensure accuracy of our systems
- Assisting with the preparation of reports and other documentation
About You
You will be self-motivated, driven and possess a can-do attitude. You will have proven experience as an Administration Officer, as well as:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with all levels of stakeholders effectively
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong numeracy skills and high attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Experience in Finance Admin desirable but not essential
- Able to work on-site full time
