Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Community Engagement and International Students Programme (ISP), the Assistant to the Office of Community Engagement and International Students Programme is responsible for providing high-level administrative support in all aspects including; marketing, Community Engagement, school events and International Students Programme.
The successful applicant will have:
- Ability to balance competing priorities and work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Demonstrate highly effective interpersonal and communication skills whilst engaging with staff, students and parents.
- Well-developed organisational skills, including a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a busy environment, prioritise tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Have the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and deal with confidential information in a sensitive and professional manner.
- Proven ability to work as a constructive member of a team with a professional, courteous manner.
- Intermediate level IT skills and competence; specifically in Microsoft Office (Edge, Teams, PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to continuously acquire new competencies.
- Show initiative and able to develop and implement systems and processes
- Ability to be flexible in response to changing priorities and needs.
- Ability to quickly learn and follow organisational policies, practices, and operations.
- Experience performing work that requires analysis, initiative, discretion, and independent judgment.
- Accuracy with data entry and document handling.
- Outstanding professional presentation and manner.
- Current Working with Children Check (NSW WWCC).
