About this opportunity
We're looking for a motivated Administration Officer who is passionate and ready to take on a new challenge. In this role you will play a pivotal part in in ensuring the smooth operations of our NDIS services and programs whilst building and fostering key relationship within our team.
Reporting to the Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following, including but not limited to:
- Providing reliable administrative support across the organisation such as answering phones, managing emails and handling correspondence.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports and other administrative documents.
- Record, transcribe and ensure the timely distribution of meeting minutes to all relevant parties.
- Keep participant and staff records, correspondence and administrative documents organised and up to date.
- Assist in coordinating participant and staff meetings, workshops, and community events as directed.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by actively engaging in team-building activities and initiatives.
- Prepare and format documents, reports and presentations as required.
- Manage office supplies and inventory effectively
- Process purchase orders to ensure timely procurement of office supplies and inventory items.
- Maintain compliance with NDIS standards and guidelines.
- Provide additional administrative support as required
This role will be based in the office, located at Melton, VIC .
About You
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative support and/or a customer service focused role, preferably within the NDIS / Disability / Aged Care or Health sector.
- Familiarity with disability services or the NDIS framework (training can be provided).
- Experience working in diverse populations and ensuring cultural sensitivity.
- Basic knowledge of disability rights legislation and advocacy principles.
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
- An understanding of direct care terminology, relevant to this sector
- An understanding or experience in general accreditation and standards
- Valid Driver’s License (essential)
- A NDIS Clearance check (essential)
- Previous experience or exposure using Xero
- Previous experience or exposure using eZaango
