We are looking for an Administration Officer to support the CO2 Australia team in the Brisbane office to manage office inventory, maintain a calendar of fieldwork and training, respond to business enquiries, assist with field work travel arrangements, and generally help ensure smooth running of day-to-day operations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:- Provide day-to-day administrative support, as well as for specific projects across the company’s diverse range of environmental services.
- Assist with processing invoices, accounts, credit card reconciliation and purchase orders.
- Assist with preparation of various reports including data entry, formatting, collation of PDFs and document packaging.
- Assist with managing company and landholder enquiries.
- Update company website, monthly news articles and social media posts as relevant.
- Manage schedule of staff movements such as travel, fieldwork, workshops, training and leave.
- Track and organise office inventory and reorder as needed.
- Maintain positive and beneficial relationships with clients, contractors, government agencies, service providers and staff.
- High school diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree or additional qualifications in related fields is advantageous.
- Proven experience working in an office environment, preferably in a similar role within the environmental industry.
- Team player with strong administrative skills including organisation, communication, attention to detail and data management.
- Ability to manage work with a high level of self-direction and a problem-solving attitude.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Background knowledge of and previous experience in the environmental industry is not compulsory but will be highly regarded.
