An opportunity exists for a Training Administration Officer to join our Education and Training team in the Queensland Branch on a full-time basis for a 12 month parental leave contract.
This role will be the first point of contact for the Division, therefore excellent communication skills and telephone manner are essential. This role reports directly to the Training Administration Manager. Our ideal candidate will have a background in administration and may have experience in an RTO or education related field.
What will I be doing?
- General reception and administration tasks such as answering, monitoring, and distributing telephone and email correspondence
- Preparing and sorting incoming and outgoing mail
- Ordering of consumables for workshops and stock control
- Processing student enrollments
- Data entry, filing and archiving documents
- Preparation of reports as requested
- Using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Workshop preparation and support of presenters
- Assisting in the preparation of meeting agendas and minutes
- Student support
- Be flexible and a self-starter
- Intermediate level computer skills in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and work with limited supervision
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Eagerness to learn and embrace new challenges
- Experience working in an RTO and using a Learning Management System is an advantage
