If you’ve been looking on Seek for more than 5 minutes you might be starting to lose hope that your dream job exists … but … this actually could be the one.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a newly created role to help us keep pace with our growth. 

Unlike most businesses, we know that having a great administrative team is key to making sure our business is A well oiled machine! 

In this role you’ll be part of a high performing Administration team, supporting all business functions, improving our processes and helping us get ready to grow our capacity to take on more client work.

You will be a key member of the Administration team and help turn our admin team into our secret weapon.

The great news is you won’t be just thrown in the deep end. Our Administration team will be there to ask any questions you might have and to show you the ropes. 

You’ll be reporting directly to the Group Services Manager, Bianca, and supporting all areas of the business. 

Although the role includes what might sometimes feel like “a bit of everything” there are two key areas of responsibility:

1.    Supporting the management of new and existing administrative processes

2.    Supporting the delivery of day-to-day operational business administration

ABOUT US

Maskill was established in 2005 as a bulldozer track repairer with only one press.

In 2009 we expanded into larger Toowoomba premises and by 2013 we had been recognised as a BRW fast 100 company for two consecutive years.  

In 2013 Maskill we were # 63 on the Fast 100 and we’re in an even better position now.

Today we operate on a national scale with headquarters in QLD & WA, creating specialised products for many organisations across Australian mining regions & overseas. 

We’re proud to be a privately-owned Australian company that creates and rebuilds high-quality undercarriage components for a variety of commodities.

In October last year we appointed Shannon, our new CEO to take over running the business from our Founder Kelly Maskill as the first step to growing the business.

You’re the kind of person others describe as a ‘people person’ because you’ve got a knack for relating to others no matter their status, colour or creed. 

At work you’re the go-to person for anyone on the team with questions because you seem to have every answer at the tip of your tongue. 

A professional problem solver, a master of organisation, a trusted confidant, and an administrative expert - all rolled into one. 

You get a real sense of satisfaction out of ticking things off to-do lists and meeting deadlines.

It’s also highly likely you will have had experience in a similar role. 

Even if you haven’t, we’ll need you to be confident sharing examples of how you’ve handled the responsibilities we’ve outlined for this role in the businesses you’ve worked for previously.

  • Experience with payroll
  • Prior administrative experience
  • Experience in manufacturing, freight or production
  • Being a systems thinker with a genuine love for process improvement 

The deal breakers - 

  • You’re generally a negative person and find it difficult to see the good in anything
  • Your perfect job is in a big team where you can just look busy but don’t actually have to get much done
  • You think that it’s ok to treat some people badly because they’re more junior or work in a lower paid role

➡️ Because of the nature of our business and this role, we aren’t able to offer this role as a WFH, so you will need to be in the office Mon-Fri between 8am - 5pm. But we will always work with you to ensure you’ve got flexibility where you need it to make things work in your personal life.

What’s the dress code at the office? We provide a formal uniform so you won’t have to worry about what to wear to work (yay!) and we’ll discuss options with the successful candidate to ensure you’re comfortable. 

Where is the office? 157 O’Mara Rd, Wellcamp. It’s about 25 minutes from central Toowoomba.
