Financial processing tasks in OneSchool and SBS Finance include, but are not limited to:
- Entering invoices for payment, ensuring correct coding and tax treatment and processing of payment runs
- Raise purchase requisitions and purchase order maintenance
- Corporate Card transaction processing and reconciliations
- Bank reconciliation and management of the Manual Matching screen, including receipting
- Assistance with accounts receivable, including receipting, creation of individual/bulk invoices, invoice cancellations and parent refunds
- Asset processing, including creation and disposal of assets
- Preparation and posting of journals
- Review of BAS and correction of GST errors
- Coordinate completion of end of term Systems Evaluation Checklist
- Prepare budget adjustments in SBS Finance for Principal approval
- Provision to school of all monthly financial reports for Principal review to a high audit standard
- Assistance with Control Self Assessments, School Financial Data Collection and other acquittals
- Support with Purchasing and Procurement processes
- Work closely with Senior Finance Officers to identify financial opportunities and strategy for Hub schools
- Strong knowledge of and experience using OneSchool and SBS Finance is desirable for this role
- Experience as a Business Manager or Administrative Officer with a predominate finance focus is highly desirable
- Able to work autonomously and set priorities, monitor work flow and keep on top of processing
- Knowledge of DoE policies and procedures and an understanding of audit requirements for finance
- Ability to confidently explain finance concepts to Hub School staff in an easy to understand manner
- Sound technological skills, in particular using Microsoft Teams
