What you'll be doing
The position will provide high level timely and accurate administrative/ transactional services under the direction of the Manager, ACCU. The position will work under minimal supervision and will be required to take independent action in providing efficient administration day to day and data management for all ACCU services.
Scope exists for exercising initiative in the application of established work practices, priorities and procedures. Decisions affecting the overall functioning and management of the service remain the responsibility of the Manager ACCU.
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (2 doses) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.

Selection Criteria * Demonstrated ability to effectively and sensitively liaise and communicate with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities and agencies.
- Hold a minimum Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent, and/or experience in provision of administrative and clerical support to senior management with a willingness to undertake further education and training as required.
- Demonstrated capacity for supporting health services with a commitment to quality improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, problem solve, prepare agendas, minutes, briefs and ministerials, as required within allocated timeframes.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with an ability to competently work effectively with a range of health professionals/ service providers/agencies.
- Demonstrated high level computer skills with an ability to maintain accurate and appropriate records in clinical and non-clinical information systems such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, eMR and TRIM etc., as well as produce routine electronic written correspondence, project resources or promotional materials and activity reports.
- Current Class C drivers licence and willingness to travel within the LHD for work purposes.
