An opportunity exists for a fulltime Warehouse Administration/ Pick and Packer at our foodservice branch located in branch.
About the role:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service over the phone and to external customers in addition to performing other administrative tasks and reports. This position also requires the candidate to pick and load goods, ensuring the picking of goods and loading of trucks is conducted accurately. This is a physical position with some heavy lifting. Training on in-house systems will be provided.
Duties:
- Manage inbound and outbound calls with customers
- Process orders
- Generate sales and promote products and services on offer
- Work co-operatively across a busy sales team environment
- General clerical duties and liaise with other departments
- Pick and assemble goods accurately
- Load trucks
- Adhere to time constraints and maintain product integrity
- Ability to work in the freezer storage area at minus 25 degree temperatures
- Flexibility as overtime may be required
Skills and Experience:
- Confident phone manner and excellent communication skills
- Superior customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and multi task
- Able to work as part of a team and autonomously
- Excellent computer literacy, including the ability to quickly learn internal systems
- Forklift licence
- Be physically fit as some heavy lifting is required
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Previous warehouse experience and delivery experience is desirable but not essential
