WHO WE ARE:Gippsland PHN is a not for profit charity that works at a regional level to achieve improved whole of system health care. Our vision is for a Measurably Healthier Gippsland.
We work closely with the primary health care system, identifying opportunities to improve health outcomes in Gippsland communities. We do this through health system improvement programs, and by commissioning services to address local health needs via our regional commissioning role.

- ensure health issues are prioritised, understood and invested in; using local strengths;
- build and support local capability in primary health care professionals;
- enable transparent communication and information exchange across the primary health care sector; and
- improve access in primary health services particularly for those at risk of poor health outcomes, and where gaps exist in hard to reach locations.
Administration Support Officer
Do you have a high level of administration skills, are self-motivated, and are interested in providing support across a number of high functioning teams?
We currently have a full time (1.0FTE) career opportunity available as the Administration Support Officer. The Administration Support Officer supports the efficient and effective functioning of Operations Managers through high-level administration and project support. Reporting to the Manager Program Delivery; the position assists teams and portfolio areas of Program Delivery, Digital Health and Integration, Primary Care Response, and System Reform.
The Administration Support Officer also contributes to research and analysis, planning and monitoring, and reporting activities within the teams. The role requires a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously with skills in prioritising workloads being essential.
We are looking for an astute, agile, dynamic, outcomes focused team member. Use your skills to complete work packages including but not limited to:
- Provide administrative support for the Manager Program Delivery, Digital Health and Integration, Primary Care Response, and System Reform, including appointment scheduling, diary/calendar maintenance, minute taking, document processing, email and records management and liaison with internal and external stakeholders;
- Assist with the delivery of team projects and activities as defined within the Annual and Business Plan. Where appropriate, lead and manage projects, under the direction of Manager Program Delivery, and Operations Managers;
- Assist in the development of reports, and other tools that can be used both internally and externally to support the primary health functions at Gippsland PHN;
- Provide support in the area of organisational governance;
- Maintain relevant registers, initiate review processes, and draft policy and procedure updates where appropriate. Maintain procedures to support Managers in team monitoring and reporting of program outcomes and expenditure; and
- Backfill the Executive Assistant Operations and support the Executive Assistant for the CEO as required.
