Planned Resources are seeking an Administration Support Officer to join a southeastern local council on a short-term contract with potential to extend!
This successful person will offer an array of Administrative Support Services to the Business Units within the Infrastructure Services and Planning Department, encompassing, but not restricted to telephone communications with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, the general public, contractors, and suppliers, handling the capture, processing, and/or forwarding of all Customer Field Service requests, addressing and/or directing general inquiries, scheduling Infrastructure Services and Planning Facilities bookings, facilitating procurement activities, assisting in meeting preparation and undertaking minute-taking responsibilities, conducting data entry tasks, and managing records efficiently.
To be successful for this role, you must display the below:
- Tertiary qualification in administration, local government, or relevant discipline
- Experience in provision of personal administrative assistance to a management position.
- Demonstrated advanced experience in MS Office, especially in creating, formatting & editing complex Word and Excel documents.
- Understanding of procedures and processes including OHS practices.
- Customer service skills relevant to a busy service delivery environment.
