The role:
The Administration Support Officer is the first point of contact through reception and provides efficient and friendly service that meets both customer needs and corporate standards. The position provides broad administrative support to assist completion of activities across the various departments of the venue.
This is a casual role, with approximately 1-2 shifts per week. It is anticipated that shifts will regularly be rostered most Wednesdays, and on event days which includes weekend work. Plus additional ad hoc support.
Key tasks:
- Provide exceptional customer service in person, via phone and email
- Provide quality support through the completion of administrative tasks, assisting with department activities and assisting with managing venue correspondence.
- Provide venue access to approved Hirers and contractors as directed. This includes assistance with venue sign in and sign out procedures and assisting with inductions.
- Provide support to the Administration Coordinator in office management including monitoring and maintaining of the office/room bookings, staff kitchen and office/consumable supplies ensuring these are replenished, and meeting room preparation.
- Ensure proficient management of time and tasks to ensure work is completed in an efficient manner
- Utilisation of SQ systems.
About you:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar position providing administrative support, with a focus on customer service.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent telephone manner and attentiveness.
- Ability to follow instruction and work under limited supervision.
- Ability to acquire knowledge of the venue and its facilities.
- Ability to use Word, Excel, Outlook and data entry as well as general computer skills.
