What is the Role?
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrative/Personal Assistant to join our team. Throughout this role, you will be delegated tasks and will need the confidence and ability to complete them with little guidance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the company's operations, including but not limited to bookkeeping, scheduling, document development, research, social media management, and general administrative duties.
Get ready for a fast-paced and rewarding career. No two days will be the same as you collaborate with respective teams and stakeholders in delivering outstanding assistance to the managers. Some days will require you to work in the office while others you will have the flexibility to work remotely if preferred (post training).
Demonstrate your ability to problem-solve and deliver flexible solutions when handling the ever-changing environment of the building/home improvement industry. Show us your juggling skills while efficiently and effectively manipulating multiple tasks, in an autonomous and fast-paced role.
What Experience do I need?
- Excellent communication, mathematical, and teamwork skills
- A proven ability to plan, organise, and manage your time and projects
- Solid IT skills including an ability to use GSuite & Xero (ServiceM8 would be a bonus)
- Bookkeeping, account and invoicing experience
- Ability to independently research and develop document
- Forward-thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to multi-task and be self-directed/accountable
- A track record of autonomously delivering results
- A positive approach to work, taking pride in delivering the very best
- 2+ years in a similar role
- Relevant tertiary education qualifications (Business Administration, Business Operations ) would be advantageous
What are my Responsibilities?
- Manage bookkeeping using Xero and ServiceM8
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Develop documents and spreadsheets using Google Docs and Sheets
- Conduct research on various topics as needed
- Manage social media accounts and create content
- Perform general administrative tasks as required

Full or Part Time available
After training on required programs, some hours can be a flexible arrangement and others in-office, to be discussed with the applicant.
