The opportunity
Put your understanding of procurement and the purchase lifecycle into action with this exciting opportunity as our Administrative Support Officer. In this permanent role you'll have the opportunity to utilise your great communication skills and can do attitude to support our team leads with their resourcing and financial needs.
Your responsibilities will include;
- Supporting several team leads
- Financial support – month end accruals, full procurement process including raising Legal Tickets
- Purchase requisition and administration
- Finance – directly supporting leadership team
- Resourcing – including helping with onboarding contingent workers
- Reporting – supporting the project manager with weekly reporting as required
- Keeping a record of a large volume of contracts, taking ownership and the initiative to notify when renewals are due
- Creating purchase orders
Skills & Experience
- Self-motivated, ability to work autonomously and a team player
- The ability to prioritise tasks against conflicting deadlines.
- Understanding of procurement and purchase lifecycle
- Confident with MS Office suite including Excel and MS Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to respond to enquiries (and ask relevant questions to learn and develop) to consistently meet and exceed expectations.
- Willingness to learn new systems
- Experience using the Oracle finance system
