Details: The Administrative Support Officer will be responsible to provide administration, business, and project support to the Place Experience and Communications team and to the broader City Renewal Authority. This position will report to the Executive Branch Manager, Place Experience and Communications and to the Authority's Chief Operating Officer, providing support and assistance to the Authority Board, its committees, the Chief Executive Officer, and the Authority's executive and staff.
This position would suit somebody who is very people focused and a good communicator both in person and in a hybrid working environment. Experience in financial processing would be highly regarded particularly in invoice processing and purchase order (APIAS, P2P).
Duties of the Position
- Provide business support to their team and stakeholders.
- Financial processing for your team (APIAS, P2P) - raising purchase orders, processing invoices for payment as well as chasing outstanding unpaid invoices and notifying contracts on the ACT Government Contract Register.
- Respond accordingly to email requests, and in a timely manner.
- Meeting coordination venue booking, minute taking and distribution when necessary.
- Records management - document filing, mail management.
- Assist with maintaining the Authority's Project Register, co-ordinate project reporting and where required provide secretariat support to relevant meetings.
- Provide Administrative Support when required to their team.
- Provide Administrative Support to the broader CRA team and the CRA Board.
- Understand and work within the ACTPS Code of Conduct and ACTPS values of respect, integrity, collaboration and innovation, and model behaviour consistent with the ACTPS Respect Equity and Diversity framework.
- Adhere to and understand ACT Government Policies and Procedures
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until 30 June 2024, with a possibility of extension up to six months. This position is available to ACT Government officers and employees only.
