About the role
Our south Brisbane office team currently have a vacancy for an Administrator to join the team. This will be a Part-time (0.5) starting out as a contractor. Position located in our springwood office. We are seeking an experienced, client focused and team-oriented administrator to support the team, office and program staff by providing reception and general administrative services.
$33 per hour (award) plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging available
What you’ll be doing
- Greet all stakeholders at the reception desk and transfer their request to the appropriate staff member
- Answer incoming phone calls, transfer calls and/or accurately notate any messages and distribute in a timely manner
- Maintain phone system and extension list
- Assisting with payroll processing and utilising client databases
- Assist in monitoring and managing office and program supplies, resources, equipment and maintenance and arrange orders as required
- Prioritise and manage tasks to ensure all client and program needs are met
- Contribute to a positive and effective team culture that is responsive to cultural diversity and equity
- Maintain confidentiality and provide effective service to both internal and external stakeholders from culturally diverse backgrounds
Assisting with any last-minute shifts, whenever it is feasible for our support workers.
About you
As the successful applicant, you will possess:
- Strong experience in Administration, Customer Service or Reception
- Knowledge of accounts receivable/payable, petty cash and other relevant finance transactions and/or willingness to be trained in these processes.
- Demonstrates high level of attention to detail and very high standards of accuracy.
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise and complete work within established deadlines.
- Proven track record in building and maintaining effective working relationships and experience in working collaboratively as a productive team member.
- You will hold a current Queensland Provisional Green (P2) or above Driver’s License.
- You must hold a positive notice in the Working with Children Check (Blue Card), Disability Worker Screening (Yellow Card)
- a positive Police Check and any other legislatively required personal history screening as required. will process and pay for checks required.
- Possesses experience as a support worker, support coordinator within the NDIS, or any related roles in the industry.
