The Advanced Health Worker reports to the Nurse Unit Manager Nurse Navigator & Respiratory Service.
PERMANENT FULL TIME position is on offer.

Base salary ranges between $89,598 and $94,514 p.a. (HW6)
Requirements
- Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care is mandatory for appointment at the HW6 level.
- Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
- Travel to work at various facilities including remote sites within the NWHHS, by air or road travel, including day trips and/or extended trips over several days is a requirement of this role and a C Class Motor Vehicle Licence is required for operation of fleet vehicles.
- Pre-employment screening: working with children (Blue Card) and criminal history checks.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, Tuberculosis and COVID-19.
- A 3-month period of probation may apply.
