We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Nurse Consultant to join our Mental Health Services in the Specialist Community Mental Health Services
About the Role:
The Equally Well Integrated, metabolic monitoring liaison Advanced Nurse Consultant role is a registered Mental Health Nurse who is responsible for providing high-quality, integrated Mental Health care to people living with mental illness. The Advanced Nurse Consultant works collaboratively with Mental Health colleagues, consumers, carers, and key stakeholders to provide a coordinated approach to primary health care management for consumers of Mental Health Services.
About you:
- Registered as a Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia for at least three years and holds a current practising certificate.
- Holds a qualification in Mental Health nursing equivalent to a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing.
- Completed appropriate theory and practical Clozapine course.
- Completed Long-Acting Injections (LAI) lead trainer course.
- Completed Metabolic health lead trainer course.
- Demonstrated high level of Mental Health nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
- Ability to lead clinical practice change.
