With the ramp up of operations, and multiple exploration sites that are planned to feed into the overall system.
In order to support that growth, the company is now looking to recruit a Training Advisor. FIFO out of Perth on an even-time roster to lead the development and delivery of a range of project learning and development activities in relation to building individual and organisational capability, aligned with project specific outcomes, business objectives and group wide strategies
Key responsibilities of this role are:
- Delivering and achieving targeted learning and behavioural outcomes that support business objectives in an environment when requirements may be rapidly changing.
- Lead the development, review and maintenance of training programs to ensure they align with business goals and objectives
- Analyse training needs and develop and coordinate new training programs and training schedules for all streams of training, to deliver innovative training solutions, in line with the business objectives.
- Prepare and present accurate and relevant plans, reports including analysis and recommendations on training and development activities and initiatives to support informed decision making
- Conduct training and complete of verification of competency assessments
- Ensure that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective
- Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organisation and/or industry
- Administration of training management system INX (InTuition)
- Develop and implement structured training needs analysis and associated matrixes from InTuition to meet business goals
- Accurately reflect training records site performance with mandatory, job essentials and personal development
- Organising training events including travel, accommodation and ensuring attendance
- Liaison with RTOs regarding bookings related to external training requirements
- Assist and mentor Exploration Leadership Team with their direct responsibilities and accountabilities in regards to training requirements
- Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety and Training, and ensure all stakeholders value and uphold a commitment to Health, Safety and Training at all times.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external personnel and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate leadership, provide assistance and constructive feedback to motivate and encourage others.
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
Qualifications/Licences:
- Essential Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116, TAE40122 preferred)
- Essential Certificate IV in WHS/OHS Minimum
- Desirable TAE50116/ TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training
- Desirable TAE50216/ TAE50122 Diploma of Training Design and Development
- Desirable Qualification in Quality Assurance Auditing
- Essential Manual drivers’ licence
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in resources industry in a training role, preferably exploration
- Demonstratable experience in INX InTuition
- Demonstratable field leadership in health, safety and training
