The Opportunity

As the Aerospace and Defence Program Manager, this role involves developing and maintaining project plans, budgets, and timelines in alignment with business objectives. Collaboration with senior management and stakeholders is essential to define project scope and goals. Ensuring timely completion of program deliverables within specified budgets and quality standards, while leading cross-functional teams, is paramount for project success. Additionally, proactive risk management, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and nurturing relationships with stakeholders are key responsibilities to ensure program success and compliance with relevant regulations.


Your Skills and Experience 

  • A relevant tertiary qualification 
  • Significant industry experience, with demonstrated success in managing complex projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent project management skills, including project planning, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Experience with program management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior management, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues.
  • Experience in government contracts and regulations. 
  • Experience with Defence Industry Security Program (DISP).
  • Experience with quality systems such as AS9100 and NADCAP.
  • Experience with ITAR and Export controls.
  • Security clearances beneficial.
