After Hours Coordinator
Permanent Part Time or Full Time
Classification: Registered Nurse Grade 5 (ZC5).
Award: Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but dynamic leadership team and an amazing career opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse with sound clinical skills, wishing to step up into a leadership role. You will assist in changing the healthcare story with the local rural community and be a part of the process as we build a wonderful new hospital. Whether you are wishing to take a step in pursuit of higher level management or purely wanting to lead, mentor and impart your industry and professional knowledge to aspiring healthcare staff, this position provides a challenge and is an integral role at MDHS. Qualifications / Experience * Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Post Graduate Qualification in Management, or working towards.
- Demonstrated awareness of Performance Monitoring Framework business rules.
- Demonstrated effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate and manage change within a large complex healthcare organisation.
- Knowledge of contemporary human resource management issues including workplace health and safety, equal opportunity and anti-discrimination.
- Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice.
- Manages and engages with stakeholders consistent with MDHS values of GREAT
