We're seeking an Airfares Specialist to work alongside our Sales and Customer Service department, focusing on providing exceptional support to our customers booking flights for their Intrepid trips.
You'll liaise with our customers, ensuring they receive expert advice and assistance tailored to their specific flight needs.

In this role you will:
Love all things flights and be motivated by finding our customers the best airfare option to add to their Intrepid Trip
Manage the entire airfare process, from initial quoting to ticketing, with a key goal of maximizing air sales.
Be an airfares guru driven by selling air and reaching sales targets.
Beyond customer interaction, you'll handle administrative tasks such as reporting and BSP reconciliation to ensure smooth operations and accurate record-keeping.
Work in a specialist airfares role alongside our sales team to achieve individual, regional, and global sales targets and KPIs.

What you need to know:
Potential earnings approx. $80,000 inclusive of super and incentives
Training for this role will start early May
This is a permanent full-time position based out of our Melbourne office with 2-3 work-from-home days per week
We work across a 7-day roster, which will include rotational evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
This is a sales and customer service role, so motivation to work towards revenue-based sales targets and KPIs is a must-have.
We would love to talk with you if you have:
Exceptional knowledge and understanding of airfares and flights bookings.
2 years min experience working with various GDS platforms &/or booking systems.
industry qualification in ticketing is preferred e.g., IATA fares and ticketing I and II.
Personal and or professional travel experience to Intrepid destinations.
