Overall Role Purpose
As an Airfreight Import Customer Operations Supervisor, you will be required to:
- Participate in designing and ensuring implementation of Operations plans and processes to support the location and ensure efficient and timely pick-up and delivery handling of customer materials and shipments.
- Participate in designing and ensuring implementation of billing strategy to achieve accuracy and effective delivery of billing information to customers.
- Optimize process efficiencies and personnel synergies across Customer Operations, billing, and program management to improve file ownership (i.e. one file, one operator concept)
- Ensure that all customer inquiries are responded to promptly and professionally.
- Serves as an escalation point for Customer Operations Specialists, Customers, overseas offices, and other parties.
- Manage and coach a team of Customer Operations Specialists
- Tertiary qualified or an equivalent qualification (Preferred but not mandatory)
- Minimum two (2) – four (4) years of previous experience/knowledge of Airfreight /Freight Forwarding exposure.
- Minimum two (2) years supervisory / people management experience.
- Sound administrative skills.
- Results-driven and attention to detail.
- CargoWise system experience /exposure advantage
- A high degree of reliability and diligence
- Be a collaborator with a positive can-do attitude.
- Be results-driven and be able to demonstrate effective communication and administration skills.
- Possess a high degree of mindfulness and a professional work ethic.
