Allied Health Assistant - Grade 2
Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for an Allied Health Assistant to join our Allied Health team on a parttime, ongoing basis.
The Allied Health Assistants involve the provision of therapy support services, including individual and group therapy, under the supervision of Allied Health Clinicians. Roles extend across various Allied Health disciplines in clinical areas such as Acute and Sub-Acute Inpatient, and Sub-Acute Ambulatory care, in addition to patient transport. Administrative duties are also involved.

We are looking for candidates with:
- Successful completion of a nationally recognised Cert 3 or Cert 4 Allied Health Assistant course
- Previous experience in the provision of therapy support services, including individual and/or group therapy
- Sound knowledge base in areas particular to the provision of Allied Health Assistant services
- Familiarity with computers
- Sound organisational and time-management skills
- Self-motivation
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
