About the role
We are currently seeking an Allied Health Team Leader for a position based in the Mallee in regional Victoria.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead a team of Allied Health professionals across a variety of different settings including community care, early childhood, medical clinics, acute and aged care
- Manage a diverse clinical caseload
- Facilitate intake and care coordination meetings
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage staff selection and appraisals
- Ensure professional guidelines, standards and reporting requirements are met
- Maintain compliance with policies, compliance and regulatory requirements
- Undertake incident investigations and improvements
- Provide reports on the programs within your portfolio
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring a team
- Experience working with clients across the lifespan within a variety of different settings
- Collaborative and supportive leadership style
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Great time management and organisational skills
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Speech Pathology, Bachelor of Podiatry or similar (or equivalent)
- Current AHPRA or SPA registration (essential)
- Australian working rights (essential)
- National Police Check
- Current drivers' licence
