The AU Delivery Services Learning team is seeking energetic, self-motivated Learning and Development Specialists to join our team and help build a network of customer-centric Amazon associates & providers in the communities where we operate.
As a Learning and Development Specialist, you have a passion for mentoring others; you are comfortable teaching and guiding conversations in large groups; and you believe in a hands-on training approach to instill safe practices and are experienced using and training through LMS programs. The individual in this position will provide high-level program facilitation- face to face & online and comfortable with administrative management.
As a Learning and Development Specialist, you are responsible for establishing the right culture, mindset and setting up the training experience, and independently instructing training sessions.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development on new training programs relevant to Australia for delivery associates and delivery service partners
- Coordinate with in-country teams to ensure corrective actions for common errors are incorporated into coaching programs.
- Report on regionalised metrics to measure the effectiveness of training.
- Facilitate training classes for up to 30 people, virtual and in person
- Familiar with editing and managing LMS
- Partner with On the Road Leadership teams to coordinate, facilitate, and measure all Delivery Associate training related activities
- Collaborate with leaders to track training performance and identify retraining and process improvement opportunities
- Own execution of On the Road related training programs and leverage support as needed
- Stay connected to the operation by participating in on-road processes on a regular basis
- Be a resource to the delivery station for driver training-related questions
- Basic Qualifications:
- Experience working with LRS/LMS tools
- Proven experience as a Learning and Development consultant, with a portfolio demonstrating your expertise in designing and delivering effective learning solutions.
- Exceptional instructional design and content development skills.
- Familiar with Storyline, Articulate & Rise
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and eLearning authoring tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or Learning Design and Facilitation or a Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience of working in a Shared Service Centre, Human Resources or Professional Organisation
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills along with outstanding facilitation skills both face to face and online
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, SharePoint, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to clearly communicate complex information and to effectively motivate small and large groups
- Conversant in basic learning principles and methodologies, and their practical applications
- Basic leadership skills and coaching and mentoring experience
- Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
- In-depth knowledge & experience in performance evaluation and driving metrics
- Hold a current Driver License
Preferred Qualifications
- Willingness to work different shifts and travel within a localised region to support other sites
- Understanding of Delivery Station processes and flow
Location: Amazon Corporate Offices (in either Sydney or Melbourne) with hybrid travel potentially required to Amazon Warehouses in the vicinity
Hours: 09:00-17:00 - Monday - Friday
Payrate: $38.11/hr
Role Type: Casual Full Time - Potential to Perm after 6 Months
