- Work closely and support sales and partner managers during the whole sales process from a technical point of view
- Answering tenders from a technical point of view (RFI, RFP)
- Design and implement eCommerce prototypes that fit the customer needs (from front end and back-office perspective) during deep dive sessions with prospects
- Collect input of other vendor solutions/offerings for competitive analysis
- Create solution concepts and architectures based on the customer requirements and business processes that prove business value and help achieve the prospective customers’ business goals
- The Customer Engagement part of the role will be secondary and is responsible with ongoing development and scoping
of ecommerce client projects. The person will be playing a major role in taking responsibility for the scripting of digital
projects and will be the day-to-day contact for external clients. Customer Engagement will ensure each project is
delivered to customer expectations and within the prescribed time frames, ensuring customer satisfaction
To succeed in the role, you must have the following:
- Solid Presales experience in the following areas IT/Software/Online application software and or/ cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure
- Previous Technical Architect/ PM/ Lead Development roles would be ideal - UI Development skills HTL, CSS, Javascript, Responsive Design, Progressive Web App, Application Development skills , Java and Database is a plus
- Subject Matter Expert in eCommerce and best practice principles
- A demonstrated track record speaking with CMO’s, Product Managers, and VP’s of eCommerce, across Fortune 1000 companies.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrate a high level of initiative, resourcefulness, energy and the ability to work autonomously
- Have an appreciation for the nuances of working in a growing business, working alongside developers and other
