Form of workWe are looking for 7 AO3 Client Liaison Officers to join a high-level State Government organisation in a long-term contract until June 2025. This role is based in Wacol and requires daily travels from sites to sites (car is provided). You will work closely with the Aerial team of the Fire Ants program, travelling out to sites where are conducting eradication treatments to inform the public around the area of treatments currently taking place.
About the role:
- Title: AO3 Client Liaison Officers
- Location: Pick-up and drop-off of the vehicles will be from Wacol depot - 226 Grindle Road (free onsite carpark available).
- Contract: Starting ASAP until the end of June 2025 with the possibility to extend.
- Pay: $46.27 p/hr + Super
- Hours: Full time hours between 06:30am to 05:00pm, 7,5 hours per day and 30 mins break. It can vary due to travelling to and from the treatment area. Weekend work available (loading pay) for those wanting extra shifts.
- Candidates must have a driver's license and be willing to obtain a Police check to be considered for this role.
The National Fire Ant Eradication Program aims to find, contain and destroy fire ants in South East Queensland. You will work closely with the Aerial team of the Fire Ants program, travelling out to sites where are conducting eradication treatments. Your role will include interacting with the public around the area to inform them of what treatment is currently taking place and how to stay cautious, and update databases regarding the progress of the program. You will be required to drive from one location to other during the day (base is Wacol), hence the need for a driver's license. Car is provided by the organisation.
The Client Liaison Officers will provide support to the Aerial Team and perform the following duties:
- These roles are crucial for operational and administrative support ensuring timely delivery of aerial operations and duties as per the National Fire Ant Eradication Program's Plan.
- Providing quality customer service to clients concerned by aerial operations, responding to enquiries and accurately recording details on relevant databases
- Providing operational and administrative support to ensure the timely delivery of aerial operations
- Collate, record, monitor and edit client data using departmental system and applications
- Use judgement and problem solving when skills when undertaking allocated tasks
- Work autonomously on a rotation as both office and outdoor based officer as per operational requirements.
Essential Requirements:
- Current 'C' Class driver's license
- High level of computer skills and proficient with databases (MS Office suite)
- High level of communication skills
- Flexibility and experience in an operations environment
- Ability to work within a team environment
