Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking an AO5 Correspondence Officer to provide relief correspondence support and assist with staff training.
The Correspondence Officer will autonomously and proactively manage incoming and outgoing correspondence for the Office of the Chief Nurse Officer, triaging, assigning, tracking, and monitoring communications. You will assess and negotiate redirection of correspondence outside the office's scope, prepare replies, and advise on response formats and workflows.
Additionally, the role involves managing the electronic document records system, reviewing and editing outgoing correspondence, coordinating requests for information, and developing, evaluating, and improving correspondence systems and procedures.
You will also prepare statistical reports, maintain confidentiality, liaise with senior management and officers, manage databases for efficient tracking, store correspondence per policies, and prepare responses to standard incoming correspondence.
Requirements for the role:
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of departmental correspondence and records management processes.
- Experience with electronic records management systems e.g., Content Manager, and managing high volumes of correspondence.
- Attention to detail, proofreading, and editing skills to ensure high-quality communications.
- High-level written, verbal communication skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and establish work priorities.
- High level of interpersonal skills, able to build relationships across stakeholders and actively participate in a team.
