The Role:
This organisation is seeking a Manager Financial and Asset Accounting to join their finance team. You will play a key role to provide a leadership role in the development and review of the department’s financial statements, and deliver high level strategic financial accounting, financial management, Asset Accounting, and advisory services.
  
Responsibilities of the role include:

• Overseeing the EOFY reporting.
• Lead the development of the financial statements in accordance with statutory reporting legislation.
• Lead the department’s Asset Accounting functions.
• Contribute to the annual property, plant and equipment valuation process.
• Lead researching and analysing information to provide quality advice and reports to boards and Senior Management.

 To be successful in this role you will need strong technical accounting experience in the following areas:

• Preparing Financial Statements
• Asset Management
• Leasing Arrangements
• Grants Management
• Debtor Management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in SAP systems
• Read and interpret financial reports at a high level.
