Purpose of the job:
In your position with our client, your responsibility will involve assisting in the development and implementation of application changes to facilitate their business in response to regulatory and product modifications, as well as initiatives for business improvement. Your focus will be on collaborating with the implementation of Acurity, their primary fund administration system, and its related interfaces. All development tasks adhere to our established standards and processes, which we consistently enhance and refine as part of our ongoing efforts to mature our Acurity implementation.
Key responsibilities for this job:
- Develop features, customisations, and preferences in the Acurity application using 4GL programming languages (we welcome applications even if you don't have Acurity experience but have strong 4GL programming experience).
- Support and maintain existing Acurity application.
- Provide application-level code reviews (review, test, bug) in collaboration with other developers.
- Gathering, documenting, and estimating requirements
- Provide a test environment prior to each release.
- Contribute to the quality of system delivery including the architecture, planning, estimation, development, integration, test, and release infrastructure.
- Help maintain consistently high code quality across the development team including code reviews.
- Be able to and have the desire to contribute to towards the company's technical strategy.
Knowledge and experience required:
- Acurity development experience (highly regarded)
- 4GL programming languages experience
- SQL and databases
- End to End SDLC experience.
- Agile methodologies
