Hastings Deering are searching for an Application Specialist to support our in region MineStar customers. Through Expert level CAT Technology Application Proficiency, the role will aim to Drive improvements in the Mining operations and Optimise efficiencies ultimately fostering Heightened customer loyalty.
The role is based out of either Brisbane or Mackay, with site travel being a requirement. The role is a permanent role working a Monday to Friday.
As an Application Specialist you will:
- Serve as a recognized senior specialist in the Mining Technology industry to our customers
- Build on your knowledge and be a valued advisor on to apply the latest mining technologies to improve processes
- Work with our customers to adapt their processes for best fit and purpose
- Benchmark operational performance to support continuous improvement
- Travel to sites to provide support

About You
A successful teammate will have experience in:
- Tertiary qualified OR trades background
- Project management qualification is desirable but not essential
- Minimum of five years experience in a similar role
- Experience in heavy earth moving machinery or mining is desirable
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
