This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.
Your role:As the Reception officer you will
* Contribute to the effective and efficient management and administration of the school by providing a high level of confidential administrative and secretarial support.
* Manage all incoming calls and ensure all missed calls / phone messages are recorded
* Manage all visitors to the College and ensure all sign in requirements are meet
Responsibilities include:
* Manage high volumes of incoming phone enquiries, direct calls and walk-in enquiries appropriately, including managing complaints, providing information, problem solving and facilitating parent contact.
* Meet, greet and sign in visitors to the school using Visitor Register Software.
* Assist with processing enrolment applications for Local Catchment, Academic, Sporting and Cultural entry.
* Enrol students in OneSchool.
* Manage incoming and distribute outgoing mail including organising couriers.
* Make appointments for the Executive and Extend Executive team
* Maintain mail register and reconciliation of postage invoices.
* Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
* Assist with updating first aid records
* Facilities Hire management
* Evacuation Box - secondary
* Assist students as required
* Assist the Business Manager with administration support
* Maintain strict confidentiality as per the Code of Conduct for the Queensland Public Service.
* Other duties as requested by the Executive Team
* Maintain photocopier room and stationery supplies
