Your opportunity
The Application Support Specialist will work in the Digital Health Solutions team contributing specialist support to existing sites and services with potential to provide support to concurrent project activities. The role is responsible for providing expert advice and support for a range of clinical and administrative systems as well as performing necessary business functions and activities. The Application Support Specialist will coordinate and actively participate in business readiness activities including, but not limited to, system validation testing in both non-production and production environments and required reporting.
About the Team
The Digital Health Solutions team (DHS) support the state-wide Integrated Electronic Medical Record (ieMR) solution and offers opportunity to be involved in training delivery and system adoption, as well as change management and process redesign. The functionality of ieMR at this HHS includes Medication Management, Anaesthetics, SurgiNet, FirstNet, ESM, Care Delivery, Renal and Powerchart Maternity solutions and includes device integration for ECG and CTG.
Mackay Hospital and Health Service has six hospitals, two multi-purpose health services and four community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
