Are you ready to take charge of the testing strategy for cutting-edge cloud-based solutions? We're seeking a dynamic Applications Test Lead to join to play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of a prominent Saas application designed to drive sustainability and efficiency within the energy sector.
️ Testing Expertise:
- Develop, execute, and maintain both manual and automation test cases for complex cloud applications and web interfaces.
- Proactively enhance automated testing coverage to support frequent release cycles.
- Where necessary, be responsible for building out automation frameworks from scratch.
- Handle changes by planning and conducting multiple test phases (e.g., system/regression), coordinating UAT and PVT with business stakeholders.
- Review and sign off on test documentation, including test strategies/plans, test summary reports, and Requirements Traceability Matrix.
- Understand business requirements and choose appropriate test techniques, mechanisms, and cases for efficient and effective testing.
- Analyze incidents to identify improvements in testing mechanisms or coverage.
- Analyze defects and incidents, assign business severity/test priority, and coordinate resolution with the appropriate teams.
- Prioritize tasks based on business impacts/risks and timelines.
- Recommend testing tools and practices to the Engineering leadership team.
Essential Requirements:
- Ability to manage test schedules across multiple projects and resources.
- Deep understanding of testing principles and practices for complex, multi-tier cloud-based systems.
- Hands-on experience with best-practice test automation tools (e.g., Selenium/Cypress).
- Proficient in web automation/API testing.
- Proficiency with Typescript.
- Proficiency with Python or c#.
- Experience designing, defining, implementing, executing, and documenting test suites for complex web/cloud applications.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, including the ability to present test coverage to stakeholders.
- Experience in prioritizing and managing concurrent assignments.
- Previous energy sector experienced strongly desired
- The budget for the role varies from $140,000-$160,000 + 15%-25% bonus depending upon experience and suitability.
- Candidates must have full working rights within Australia.
- Only candidates based in Sydney or Melbourne will be considered for the position, as this is a hybrid working model.
