The role

We’re seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Apprentice Chefs to join Crown - one of Australia's largest hospitality employers. This is your chance to develop your skills and gain experience in a range of cuisines and styles to kickstart your culinary career. An extraordinary opportunity to get your foot in the door with no prior professional work experience required!
In this role you will:
- Have hands on experience working in a number of Crown’s premium & casual restaurants as well as banqueting operations.
- Exposure to a variety of Asian and Western cuisines under the guidance of some of Melbourne’s leading Chefs and a dedicated Culinary Trainer.
- Attend classes 1 day at week with William Angliss to complete Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
About you
You’ll bring the following:
- Be able to commit to a 3-year Apprenticeship with Crown.
- A passion and dedication for cooking (no prior professional experience is required!).
- Desire to learn and a can-do attitude, initiative & ability to follow directions.
To be successful, you’ll be able to:
- Work full time over a 24/7 rotating roster; including weekends, public holidays and overnights.
- This role requires Full working rights: Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident.
