We are currently offering a great opportunity for an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter to join our Nutrien Water Engineering Malaga, WA team.

About the opportunity:
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, In conjunction with your studies you will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of machinery both out on site & in the workshop. You shall have an interest in Machining, fitting & CNC machine operations & keen to learn a multi facet business.
In addition, you will:
- Assist with diagnosing and repairing system faults.
- Keep records and ensure that activities are completed to deadline and job sheet requirements.
- Assist with safe installation of all components required such as all types of pumping systems, machinery, pipe work including commissioning and trouble shooting.
About You:
To be successful you must have:
- Completed minimum year 10 in secondary education
- A can-do attitude.
- Strong attention to detail
- A desire to learn an understand mechanical systems.
- Class C drivers’ licence (Minimum).
- Forklift ticket (Desirable).
- Your own reliable transport.
