The role of Administration Officer at the School of Infantry Headquarters will be varied and challenging, requiring a range of administrative and analytical skills. The role will see the Administration Officer work alongside uniformed Defence personnel to conduct essential administrative and business support tasks for the School of Infantry.
The position presents a unique opportunity to work within a small, close-knit team directly supporting the execution of infantry training. Specific duties associated with the role include; liaison with Defence and civilian stakeholders, administrative and business support and provide assistance in the preparation of written submissions, briefs, and other correspondence for Defence and external stakeholders.
The role requires in-office execution primarily, based out of the School of Infantry Headquarters at the Singleton Military Area, though flexible work arrangements can be explored.

- The candidate will be required to work both collaboratively as part of a team and independently with limited supervision.
- The candidate should be adaptable, flexible and comfortable during change.
- The candidate must possess a high degree of digital literacy, specifically the Microsoft Office software suite.
- Prior experience with Defence is preferred but not essential.
- Member does not require a NV1 security clearance at application, however should be prepared to pursue one through AGSVA on selection.
