As an APS 4Learning and Development Administration Officer you will:
- Arrange Learning and Development activities.
- Administer and maintain learning systems, data and records.
- Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders and contribute to the maintenance of a strong customer focus.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders on the provision of Learning and Development services.
- Collate and assess data for Learning and Development reports.
- Work collaboratively in a team based environment actively participating in and contributing to team meetings and exchange information to support the work area and team objectives.
The Director, Financial Learning reports to the Assistant Secretary Financial Compliance. The Financial Compliance Branch sits within the Budgets and Financial Services Division and supports the Department of Defence by providing a framework of financial policies and advice to support staff in exercising their financial responsibilities. There are a broad range of specialised financial activities undertaken within the Financial Compliance Branch including financial policy, financial compliance, financial learning, travel policy and tax management.
The Financial Learning Directorate plays a vital role in managing the financial Learning and Development program to support exemplary financial practice across Defence. The team helps to inform and educate Defence personnel to make sound decisions around Defence financial management, through practical interpretation of financial policy and processes. The team is responsible for delivering generalist and specialist financial learning solutions in a variety of formats including video, eLearning and face-to-face training.
