The Opportunity

The Role
As the HR Advisor, you will play a key role in providing expert advice and support across a range of HR-related matters. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responding to senior leaders with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Establishing positive relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Handling APS payroll and operational HR matters within the HR Policy team
- Providing clear, timely, and accurate advice to a diverse range of stakeholders
- Understanding and interpreting APS industrial instruments and legislation
- Working autonomously to provide support and expert advice on HR-related matters
To be successful in this role you will have strong communication skills and a proven track record in providing advice on payroll and operational HR matters within the APS. Your experience in a similar role within the APS will enable you to hit the ground running, demonstrating autonomy and initiative. You will excel in navigating multiple priorities independently, providing clear, timely, and accurate advice on HR-related matters.
