Our client is seeking to engage an APS6 Senior Procurement Officer on a contract.
Contract Length: Start – 05/02/2024, End – 30/06/2024
Eligibility/Security Requirement: Ability to obtain Baseline Clearance
Statement of Work
The Entity requires the following duties to be completed by the Labour Hire Worker:
- Support the project managers with developing the approaches to market and reviewing the procurement documentation related to the RBAC program contributing to maintaining program schedules.
- Implement the recommendations of the Management Initiated Review.
- Assist with the implementation of the TechnologyOne Finance System Sourcing Module
- Provide staff across the Commission with guidance and advice to enable them to conduct compliant procurements with the Commonwealth Procurement Framework.
- Provide first-line support to staff on the contracts (purchasing) module of the TechnologyOne finance system including advising and assisting with rectifying incorrectly entered contracts.
- Monitor procurement and contractual arrangements and ensure compliance with Commonwealth Procurement Framework and Commission requirements by QAing contracts coming through the TechnologyOne Contracts Resource Pool.
- Ensure the Commission complies with AusTender reporting deadlines by drafting contract notices to AusTender and updating the TechnologyOne finance system with CN #’s.
- Extracting data from various sources and preparing reports on procurement activity for internal and external use including Budget and Senate Estimates, “Murray Motion” reporting, Risk & Audit Committee.
- Maintain currency of Commonwealth Procurement Framework knowledge and requirements to support the Commission’s procurement activities.
- Escalating complex issues to the Assistant Director Procurement.
- Other related/connected duties as required by the Entity;
- Complete all required mandatory training programs as required by the Entity. The timing and completion of the training will be discussed and agreed with the Entity’s contact officer; and
- Work for standard business hours, which are 7 hours 30 minutes or as otherwise advised by the Entity, with a minimum 30-minute lunch break mandatorily required. If Personnel are required to work weekends, public holidays and Entity stand down periods, prior written approval from the Entity must be obtained.
