About the Role
VenuesWest has an exciting opportunity to join our Aquatics team as the Aquatics Operations Supervisor. Supporting the Aquatics Manager, the Aquatic Operations Supervisor coordinates the day to day operations of the Aquatic facilities including ensuring legislative guidelines are met to delivery safe and quality customer experiences, optimise venue usage and maximise financial returns.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity. Whilst the position will be based at HBF Arena in Joondalup, mobility may be required between the portfolio of facilities.

The successful candidate will have previous demonstrated skills and experience in the management or supervision of Aquatic operations including a good understanding of the associated legislation and experience working with pool chemicals and plant room operations.
As a People Manager, the successful candidate will also have skills and experience in staff supervision.

- RLSSWA Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 or equivalent)
- Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus Certificate or capacity to complete with 3 months of commencement
- Operate and Control Liquefied Chlorine Gas Disinfection or Work Safely With Liquefied Chlorine Gas Certification or capacity to complete within 3 months of commencement
- LIWA Accreditation
- WA Construction Industry White Card (Work Safely in the Construction Industry); or capacity to complete within 1 month of commencement
- WorkSafe ‘License to Perform High Risk Work’ for Forklift (FL) or capacity to complete within 3 months of commencement
- Enter and Work in Confined Spaces (RIIWHS202D); or capacity to obtain within 3 months of commencement
