The business has grown rapidly due to expanding their distribution networks, service offerings and continued investment in product development.
The role
In this end to end role, you will be reporting to the AR Manager as part of a close-knit team. In this highly visible and integral end to end role, you will own your own ledger, deliver superior levels of customer service and develop successful key internal/external relationships with both small and large national accounts. The position offers real flexibility, where after the training phase there are options to work 1-2 days p/w at home- to be negotiated.
Duties
- Full function AR
- Credit claims
- Managing large number of small and large National accounts (approx.1500)
- Creating new accounts
- Managing credit queries with internal/external departments
- Maintain and monitor customer credit limits
- Identify and flag at risk customers re potential litigation
- Collections
- Managing large ledger (approx $5-10m)
- Allocations
- Banking
- Raising credit notes/returns
- Liaising with other departments re credit claims
- Other ad-hoc duties as required by AR Team Leader
The successful candidate will have had experience in working in an AR Officer position for a minimum of 2+ years, ideally at an organisation within the Trade, FMCG, Retail/Wholesale, industries. You will have a proven track record in minimizing bad debt and maximising collections. You will lead from the front in providing exemplary customer service and have an ability to build successful relationships with key vendors/suppliers and key internal stakeholders. Other skills need would include;
