An exciting full time, permanent opportunity has arisen for an experienced AR Officer to work with a national, market leading Building Services business based in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The company has grown rapidly due to its expanded services offering and success in winning a number of recent large contract tenders with large commercial Building projects.
The Role
Based in their Eastern suburb’s office and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will become part of a friendly, close knit and highly collaborative AR team. In this high-volume role, you will be responsible for maintaining all Accounts Receivable procedures/processes with a focus on developing relationships with both key accounts and internal stakeholders. After the training phase of the first few months, there will be provision to work form home 1-2 days per week (to be negotiated). The role will include but not be limited to:
Responsibilities;
- Allocations
- Credit claims
- Invoicing
- Receipting
- Maintaining a large ledger of both small and large accounts
- Creating new accounts
- Collections of overdue accounts
- Dispute resolution
- Banking
- Dealing with credit queries
- Identifying credit risk
- Other ad-hoc duties as required by AR Manager
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 + years full function AR experience in a high volume, deadline driven environment. You will have a passion for customer service and love enhancing relationships with key accounts. Maintaining a flexible approach to work, you will also obtain the following:
